RESCUE PARADE AND RECOGNITION OF SENIORS

Participants in both these events
will receive a free official Goldstock Bandana

The Rescue Parade and Recognition of Seniors will be on Saturday afternoon, 30th August. This is always a moving and wonderful event at Goldstock, but we do have to limit the number of entries so if you want your fuzzbutt entered, please read the following and respond ASAP! NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. Entry fees paid by cheque (made payable to Heartland GRR) for these events should be sent to:

These two events benefit Heartland GRR and Montana GRR.

RESCUE PARADE

Please email an interesting or fun short story NO MORE THAN 75 WORDS, as spoken by your Golden (BUT in English please). Sorry but stories longer than 75 will be returned for you to edit. We have to keep the stories short to enable us to get through all 50 entries in a reasonable time and also so the narrators do not lose their voices. Along with the email please attach a good quality, high resolution, close up colour jpg of your golden (no humans in the photo). Please include the following information in your email and use GS Rescue Parade as your subject line:

Your name
Golden's age or approximate age
Gotcha date and name of Rescue

Email entries to goldstockparades@heartlandgoldenrescue.org. Entries will close Tuesday, 22nd July or earlier if 50 entries have been received - so don't leave it to the last minute and be disappointed. Remember no late entries will be accepted. In previous years entries have closed early. The registration fee is $7.50 per dog and must be received by Saturday, 26th July at the above address.

RECOGNITION OF SENIORS

There is nothing like the love of a senior, and to honor these special dogs, the Senior recognition will be held on Saturday afternoon prior to the Rescue Parade and is open to ALL Goldens (not just rescues) who are at least 9yo or will be 9 by the end of the year.

For the Rescue Parade the cost is $7.95 per entry.
For the Recognition of Seniors the cost will be $6.40 per entry.
